Roadmap
Welcome to the Jjodel Roadmap! Here, we outline the ongoing development and future plans for Jjodel. By transparently sharing our progress and priorities, we aim to engage with our community, invite feedback, and align our development efforts with the needs of researchers, developers, and industry professionals.
Current Development Focus
Current efforts are devoted to:
- – Real-Time Collaboration Enhancements: Improving synchronization and conflict resolution for team-based modeling.
- – Performance Optimizations: Ensuring scalability for handling large models and datasets.
- – Advanced Editing Features: Introducing collaboration-aware undo/redo functionality, set to be included in the next release.
Enterprise Migration
We plan to upgrade the persistence backend to a robust enterprise platform, enhancing security and operational capabilities. This migration is scheduled to be completed by Q1 2025.
Integration with Epsilon
The integration of the Epsilon Transformation Language (ETL) is scheduled for implementation in Q2 2025.
Planned Features
- – A new polymetric view will be introduced, expanding the available analytics capabilities to provide deeper insights and enhanced data visualization.
- – Support for Ecore/XMI import and export is scheduled for implementation in the near future.
